Arsenal have confirmed the sighing ofChelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.
The 33-year-old opted to move away from the club after losing his first team shirt to Thibaut Courtois.
Having 11 years in London playing for Chelsea, the Czech international chose to remain in the city by agreeing a deal with Arsenal.
Arsenal last completed completed the £11million signing of Cech who had his medicals at their training ground on Friday, June 26.
Cech made over 400 appearances for Chelsea, four English Premier League titles, three FA Cups and a UEFA Champions League.
He also won the Premier League Golden Glove award on three occasions.
Cech is also a seven-time Czech Footballer of the Year, having made his international debut in 2002.
He currently has 114 caps for his country.
He has proven over many seasons that he is one of the outstanding keepers in the world and he will add great strength to our squad.”
Cech revealed his excitement at joining Arsenal and also disclosed that the manager played a huge role in his signing.
